Michael's 10th b-day

Michael just wanted to have a party with his friends from school this year.. soooo we had a party at the city pool.. rented out the party room.. they had fun... .pizzas, cake, and swimming for 2 hours.. it was fun =)

Halloween 2010

Michael decided this year that he would not go trick o treating.. and instead just hand out candy.. I was excited about this.. cuz.. that meant a relaxing Halloween! lol.. but lo.. I was wrong.. my son says on Halloween morning.. that he has decided he would trick o treat afterall.. and donate the candy to my prize drawer at the school.... hmmm.. who could put that one down.. lol.. anyways.. his costume from the year before still fits him.. so all we had to do was buy a mask.... he went to a few houses and decided he was done... lol

Summer is half way over!

I can't believe that summer is half way done! WOW! It is flying by fast... probably because I have been busy teaching this summer and getting many classes done at WGU as well... Miguel has moved to days.. which he hasn't worked for 11 years.. It has been a wild adjustment.. but nice to finally have family dinners together.. wow... forgot how that was! lol... Michael's baseball is almost done as well.. his team is in the tournament... if they win the game tonight.. .they are in the championship game.. Woo hoo.. .

Well... I will try my hardest to keep my blog up to date.. sorry =( ..... I do miss Northlake and want to go back.. I know that may sound crazy.. but I LOVE teaching! It is addicting and I love every minute with the students... I am so glad I was able to teach English as a Second Language classes to adults this summer and run a Spanish club for 8-12 year olds.... that has been a blast...

Its been too long!

Shame on me.... I haven't been blogging for a long time! I need to make it a goal to keep on blogging.. I spend a lot of time on facebook and should also post on here too... Well its supposed to be summer.. and it feels like April! Its been raining and cold for three days now.. I am not liking this one bit..

Happy Birthday Miguel!

Miguel's bday is tomorrow.. but I just wanted to let him know how much I love him and truely appreciate all he does for our family! He is such a sweatheart! Last year I sent him on a trip to Mexico to go on a week outting with his brothers.. I wish I could do that everyyear for him. But I am going next week.. by myself.. go figure.. (for my teeth) So this year I got him gun he has had his eyes on... and making him sopa de mariscos (seafood soup) I wont see him tomorrow since he works at night and me during the day... but I wanted to make him something special so when he wakes up . .he will have a yummy lunch =) I LOVE YOU MIGUELITO!

Here are the before and after photos of our fence that Miguel built.. I love him so much! He is soo talented and when he has a project.. he doesn't stop until he is done. He is such a blessing in my life! Thank you Miguel for all you do!

September has come and gone!

Shame on me.... I was trying to be good and post on here.. but It has been a month already. Well.. we have been in our house for almost 2 months now! Wow! Time flies! We finished putting up our fence and now have been painting new colors in the house. I promise I will post pics on here. I have posted them on facebook.. and just need to save them to my computer so I can post them on here.
I am going to down to Mexico City in a couple of weeks... to have my sister in law Susie fix some teeth. I love having a dentist in the family.. much more cheaper to fly down there and get things fixed then using our insurance and doing it here.. crazy I know! While I am down there I am going to be going to the pyramids of the sun and moon to get another aztec mask for my living room... like I said I need to post pics.. which I will do this weekend for sure... (I hope... lol) It is UEA conf. weekend so no school and no work for 4 days.. woo hoo!
